Occasionally you find a painting by one of the Highwaymen artists that’s a standout. This painting fits that description. An early 1960’s James Gibson that was very well done. His painting style and ability shows in this artwork.

Mr. Gibson was one of the early important core members in the Highwaymen group. Always very well dressed at the public events he attended. He loved to tell his Highwaymen travel stories and things that happened along the way while selling his art.

The Highwaymen story and art they created continues.
